Manuel Fontes, 84, of Pawtucket, RI, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 27, 2021. He was born in Fogo, Cape Verde, to Cristiano Fontes and Maria Fontes. Manuel left behind his loving wife of over 46 years, Dinora Fontes. He is survived by his loving children Christopher, Lisa, and Maria Elizabeth (Preston). He leaves 12 grandchildren Essence (Walter), Gerson, Annai, Emani, Preston, Payton, Chase, Alonis, Ivan, Chris, Aria, and Bria, 2 great-grandchildren Nyzel and Nayeli, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Manuel was a devoted husband and loving father who cherished spending his time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, July 2nd from 5-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home. A Mass Of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, July 3rd at St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave, Pawtucket RI at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
